Practice Manager

After graduating in 2003 with a BSc Hons in Psychology and Sociology, Emmie took a post in the Bristol Children’s Hospital as Medical Secretary. She quickly realized the need for an ENT Personal Assistant role in the Bristol Children’s Hospital, and therefore created it. She proceeded to solely manage the ENT Bristol Children’s Hospital NHS waiting lists through implementation and management of the ‘partial booking’ initiative for the ENT department.

Emmie then went on to be employed by BUPA again as a medical secretary. Her employment involved basic clinic, theatre list and patient management for three consultants of varying specialties. After 15 months with BUPA, she realised her vocation as an independent Personal Assistant and Practice Manager to not only a range of specialized independent Consultants but to Partnerships as well.
